This article is in need of expansion, and in particular more information on the Marian apparition of Our Lady of Kibeho. Right now, the Our Lady of Kibeho page redirects here, but if enough information can be obtained, we may want to create an article at the Our Lady of Kibeho namespace focusing specifically on the apparition while this article focuses more on the geographical locale of Kibeho. - Agreed. For this reason, I've added considerably to the linked Kibeho Massacre page, and edited the section of this page that dealt with it. But this page still needs historical, geographic and religious additions, which I'm not able to contribute to--Nickm57 (talk) 07:13, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
Yes, I also agree. But, and sadly but, all info about Kibeho is subject to controversy since there are claims that the Archbishop who approved it was in on the original attrocities, etc. So there is need for very careful analysis before info is just added from web references, etc. I do think it needs serious expanion, but please note that it is different because of the sad facts of war, complicity, genocide and then suddenly decoration by fancy proclamation. Reverting the additions of 6 July
[edit]I've reverted most of Kejon69's contributions of July 6. No offence intended, but Wikipedia obliges editors to provide some sources for such claims - which, if they exist, would be better suited to the linked page on the Kibeho Massacre anyway. An invitation to "speak with any of the aid workers present" is not adequate for Wikipedia. --Nickm57 (talk) 06:59, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
