I'd oppose use of this suggested version, as it omits some references from the current version of the article, and also adds unsourced material about the languages that the subject speaks. Mikesolary has been persistently edit warring on this subject. Al Jazeera is considered a reliable source, see Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources. For us to try to second-guess their research methodology falls into Wikipedia:No original research. 1000s of people have acquired Cypriot citizenship in this manner, so it is hardly unusual, and it is not a crime. However, as to his having also bought citizenship for three of his children, this is only supported by a primary source, so I have removed that. Edwardx (talk) 10:33, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
