Notability

I'm looking over WP:BIO and WP:AUTHOR regaring Sampsell's notability. Katr67 (talk) 18:39, 25 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I had started an extensive post about why Sampsell is indeed notable, with copious citations, but my computer ate it. Suffice to say, he's published, a publisher of other notable writers, written about, influential, cited, a visiting writer, picked up by the AP, covered by non-local papers, etc., etc. All that needs to be put into the article, but there's no way this article would not pass an AFD.
