Fused sentence fixed

In section Business career>Softkey, the fifth paragraph contained a run-on fused sentence. Here it is (in bold; I've included the previous sentence merely for context):

"The purchase by Mattel was later called one of the most disastrous acquisitions in recent history. Mattel experienced a US$105 million loss following the acquisition management had projected a $50 million profit"

In the spirit of WP:BOLD, I've fixed it as follows, taking the opportunity of repairing the fuse to also improve the phrasing so as to emphasize the discrepancy between the projected vs actual post-acquisition performances:

"The purchase by Mattel was later called one of the most disastrous acquisitions in recent history. While acquisition management had projected a post-acquisition profit of US$50 million, Mattel actually experienced a loss of US$105 million."

If I've parsed the original incorrectly, seeing a fuse where there wasn't one, just go ahead and revert. Sleety Dribble (talk) 14:45, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
