Don't Speedy... Kevin Borich is a well known Australian musician. Cnwb 23:35, 29 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The article needs to make the case. Right now it doesn't claim much notability, and links to a stack of redlink bands. Doesn't look notable. However, a quick Google search comes up with stuff like "One of Australia's greatest guitarists Kevin Borich"... the article needs to cite some of these references. --kingboyk 15:25, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
deletion? wtf? whats this some sort of 'ethic' cleansing, only musical industry related? just the tiniest bit of checking would identify that all this behaviour is way out of line, and just because it 'looks' like it doesnt mean anything at all, it simply means that it 'looks' like it. Cant you asert the notability of Kevin Borich YOURSELF? after checking and seeing the vast history of this guy? I guess that's not your style, looking around at your behaviuor, its to surgically remove anything that doesnt comply with YOUR view of what doesnt comply with wikipedia..... in fact thats an elusive beast, and is dependent on consensus, but it seems that here down under anything is subject to the whims of anyone, and as we care less about the wiki representation of our HISTORY than the actual reality of it, you are free to move in with this sharpened knife.. yeah I know, with the best intent, theres no doubt about that, I know you mena the best and have wiki at heart, we all do, and thats a given, otherwise why would you bother. Your style isnt anything like the beast that we all fight, thats much more random, but in the final analysis I still dont understand; isnt it better to IMPROVE articles rather than reduce them, if they need reduction, then isnt replacement a better idea? anyway, whatever, I doubt if my thoughts mean much either, and like hundreds of other articles, I'll have to do it myself. The thing is, I'm weary of all this stuff, its not my idea of an efficient method, and it looks to me to be incredibly in-efficient. Why bother fighting about Kevin Borich when EVERY musician in Australia and New Zealand simply know who he is and what he's done, and if wikipedians cant be bothered to find out an dbuild a good article, then the public will never be served by the existence of wikipedia for this person and his life work. Google isnt the only source of notability. Wikipedian Notability for a musician is simply having a record released.... now lets see how many records has Kevin Borich recorded? I think youll find its several hundred. Finally, go away and work on stuff that you either know about or are prepared to research and fix in a POSITIVE manner. Havent you noticed that wikipedia is bulging with such stuff? there are many systems in place to bring it to your attention, if you really need them, but you must have seen them already... the rest of us have.moza 08:30, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
