As I've stated in the edit summary, we should keep this page because: A) The hitting streak is indeed independently notable as it has been covered by various news outlets, such as ESPN, CNN, AP, Sports Illustrated, The Athletic, etc. and B) The fact that it's a relatively recent record should not count against it. Domingo Germán's perfect game occurred just a few months ago and yet it has its own separate article. A record-breaking hitting streak should thus also warrant its own article.
