The title is wrong & misleading: the matter discussed is NOT a kernel random forest but rather a random forest kernel - a.k.a. a "normal" random forest interpreted as a kernel model which then defines the RF kernel. See http://mlg.eng.cam.ac.uk/pub/pdf/DavGha14a.pdf
