I heard through another record source (not NFL.com or Pro Football Encyclopedia) that Barefoot once recovered a blocked punt and scored his only NFL touchdown while playing for the Redskins. Please check that possibility out.

I saw him run that blacked punt in for a touchdown. He was with the Redskins. He held the record for the most touch down receptions by a tight end at VA Tech for 30 some years. It was broken last year. Procolftball (talk) 21:17, 6 October 2008 (UTC) J. Richards[reply]
