Notability
[edit]As the tag currently on the article says, this article may not meet general notability requirements. I have looked at the two external links now listed: Doran's company site and the Minnesota Public Radio Campaign 2006 site, in the hope of verifying the current material and finding some sort of further support for the subject's notability. No luck. The one internal link, to the Kansas City Star, is non-functional. Doran is clearly a Minnesota developer who has never held public office, but who decided, briefly, to try his hand at Minnesota politics before bailing out. Much of the detail (and trivia) in the existing article is not verified at either external link, and is mostly not especially significant.
I intend to pare the article down to the information that seems both relevant and supported by the links. That will, at least, make the article more encyclopedic, although the notability issue still stands. Tim Ross (talk) 10:52, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
- I've added some references and details from his development company that should help establish notability. Gobōnobō + c 22:07, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
suggestions
[edit]I'm an employee of Doran Companies with suggestions for this article...
Worked at Bank of America for 3 years
Donated to one Republican
Has developed over 5 million sq. ft. of retail, multi-use and multi-family properties
Add Architecture to Doran Companies
Add “Market Rate apartments” to student housing
Get rid of Kramer “The Boss” so it just reads Evan and Kramer
thanks
