This article needs to be updated for the current season.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 16:51, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
- Let me clarify:
The LEAD should begin with he is playing his senior season for the 15-16 team.If he had any preseason All-conference, watchlist or All-American recognition, it should be in the article. If he has any big games yet include them.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 05:23, 1 December 2015 (UTC)- I have made the necessary updates. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 00:54, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
- Personally, I would have mentioned watchlists too like this, this and this, but I may overdo it a bit.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 02:48, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
- I have made the necessary updates. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 00:54, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
"was a star player" is a bit of a throwaway in the WP:LEAD. Every basketball player notable enough to have a WP article was probably a star in high school. I would ditch this phrase for substantive content. Was he a Parade All-American or something?--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 17:09, 27 November 2015 (UTC)- Took it out and reworded the paragraph. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 23:22, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
- Link Big East.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 17:50, 1 December 2015 (UTC)
- Done. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 01:30, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
- Actually, the current linkage does not lead the reader to any relevant content. You need to link to articles like 2012–13 Atlantic 10 Conference men's basketball season and 2013–14 Big East Conference men's basketball season.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 12:52, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
- Either you have missed my point or you believe that there is content in the general links Atlantic 10 Conference and Big East Conference that is relevant to the Dunham article. Can you explain what the reader will find that is relavant to this article at either of those pages.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 02:27, 25 December 2015 (UTC)
- I think I fixed it. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 18:56, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
- I see that each year has a conference season link. Each is a bit of an WP:EASTEREGG. In each case try to incorporate the YYYY-YY syntax into the link so the reader knows what is being linked.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 04:02, 31 December 2015 (UTC)
- Still not done.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 02:23, 7 January 2016 (UTC)
- Can we either do the YYYY-YY editing for the conferences as well for the sophomore year or put the link near the team season article that indicates the year to the reader.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 00:25, 13 January 2016 (UTC)

Please link first use of all basketball terms point (basketball), Free throw, shooting guard, rebound, 3-point shot, buzzer beater, etc.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 17:50, 1 December 2015 (UTC)- I linked some of them. Point and rebound are quite ubiquitous and do not need to be linked, in my opinion. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 01:30, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
- I don't really think rebound is ubiquitous. A point may be, but not a rebound.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 02:28, 25 December 2015 (UTC)
- Honestly, if you want to link rebound, go right ahead. I personally disagree. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 18:56, 30 December 2015 (UTC)

[edit]At some point you should mention Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) before stating Class 4A.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 05:34, 1 December 2015 (UTC)- done. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 01:05, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
"candidate for Indiana Mr. Basketball" is meaningless to the reader. I happen to know that in Ind the MrBB finish was Harris, Ferrell, Dunham, Robinson III. You should tell the less informed reader that he finished 3rd (or that I am remembering this fact incorrectly).--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 05:34, 1 December 2015 (UTC)- Do you have a source for that? ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 01:05, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
- this is adequate.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 14:05, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

use {{convert}} for metric conversions of heights.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 17:46, 1 December 2015 (UTC)- Done. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 01:12, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

Please link the opposing high schools.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 12:56, 10 December 2015 (UTC)- Done, but they're red links. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 01:15, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
- I see that now. However, please link to the right redlinks. I.e., the city in front of the name is just a high school sports journalism convention. It does not belong there. Use city, state in common disambiguation format if necessary.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 14:11, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
- Not quite sure what you mean, and I don't really see why they need to be linked in the first place. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 19:22, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
- Since they are redlinks, you can delink them.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 02:30, 25 December 2015 (UTC)
- You still need to respond to this. Either remove (delink) the redlinks or properly link them to the location of the expected article. Although high school basketball journalism parlance would say Terre Haute North High School, on WP the link would be at North High School (Terre Haute, Indiana). If you are going to leave the redlinks, they must be at the location of the expected article. There will never be a wikipedia article at Terre Haute North High School.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 02:13, 7 January 2016 (UTC)
- Delinked. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 15:58, 7 January 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Use {{cbb link}} for team seasons that don't yet exist like Elon and Indiana State.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 17:57, 1 December 2015 (UTC)- I really don't think this is necessary. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 01:18, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
Eliminate slang like "from deep".--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 17:57, 1 December 2015 (UTC)- Behind the arc is no less slangy. Just say he made 3-point field goals or 3-point shots.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 02:53, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
- Changed to "three point range". ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 01:18, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

- Reword and link to conference season articles like 2012–13 Atlantic 10 Conference men's basketball season and yearly tournament aritcles like 2012 Maui Invitational Tournament.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 22:52, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

- This goes along with the comments regarding the LEAD above.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 02:32, 25 December 2015 (UTC)

Find links for the season conference tournament as is relevant.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 22:54, 1 December 2015 (UTC)- Done. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 01:34, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
You should add the team season articles to the text. Add one link per section (towards the beginning) in the main body.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 14:21, 22 December 2015 (UTC)- Haven't I already done this? ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 19:22, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
- I am saying use 2012–13 Butler Bulldogs men's basketball team in the Freshman section and so on. Those articles should have content related to this article.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 02:35, 25 December 2015 (UTC)
- Okay, I added them. Can this be passed now? ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 14:23, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
- In each case, you added the link as an WP:EASTEREGG. "Coming into his freshman year" should be something helpful to the reader looking for information like "Coming into his freshman year for the 2012–13 Bulldogs" or 2012–13 team.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 02:08, 7 January 2016 (UTC)
- Is it better now? ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 16:24, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
