Engines?

- The B-36 had 10 engines, not 12. Likewise, the article here says it's bigger than the B-29/B-32 (nearly the same airframe); both used only 4 engines. Likewise, the number of engines does not necessarily equate to size. Many fighters have VERY high thrust and are relatively light. I hope that answers your questions.
