Many of the lakes of the lower Gull River (Specifically Gull, Moore, and Shadow Lakes) are still considered to be part of the Kawartha Lakes by local residents. I've never heard of Talbot Lake or Mitchell Lake being labelled as Kawartha (Especially the latter since its an artificial lake created circa 1905). - ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ τ ¢ 18:53, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
