Kawanehon name?

[edit]

Could someone please verify that this place is called "Kawanehon"? I was under the strongest impression that "本町" was one word, and I can't find any place that calls it "Kawanehon" except for places that are obviously quoting from Wikipedia. Acidtoyman (talk) 12:38, 6 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I support Acidtoyman, and the article title should be corrected to "Kawane-honchō", or maybe "Kawane (town)" instead, as there is Kawane,_Shizuoka in the same prefecture. Many cities/towns in Japan, including this example, are called [本町] Error: {{Lang}}: invalid parameter: |3= (help) (and elsewhere [本町] Error: {{Lang}}: invalid parameter: |3= (help)). In this sense, it does not make sense to abbreviate honchō to hon.
