Katy Perry and Katy Perry

[edit]

Her name is identical to the singer Katy Perry I think there should be the "Not to be confused with " in the top of the Article Red Gabriel (talk) 17:32, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Who cares?

[edit]

My grandfather was senior vice president of a major corporation in the beverage distribution industry. He was a regional director for B'nai Brith. He was president of a famous synagogue and president of the board of a well-known living complex for elderly Jews. He was an extensively invested philanthropist for Israeli and Jewish causes. Does he get his own Wikipedia page too? I hope not, and neither should the subject of this article. Jyg (talk) 19:17, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Jyg It sounds like your grandfather may be notable. Is he mentioned in reliables sources? If so, then yes, he can have a Wikipedia page. As can the subject of this page. Escape Orbit (Talk) 09:34, 27 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Escape_Orbit Hah! Your generous response was not the one I was expecting. I would not want to bore people to tears with such articles. But then, it could be that I do not understand Wikipedia's sense of notability. But, you have caused me to do a bit of research and start reading https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability.
