Going through the notes left, reviewer has not done basic due diligence on the data. To make it easier for the future reviewers, more references are added to the .org and .sport sites with all of the details. Most of the sites that keep scores and rosters require an explicit filtering so reviewer will have to do that as well. 73.211.147.6 (talk) 19:04, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Let me try and make it more specific. At present, the article has a banner stating that there are multiple issues with this article citing "relies excessively on references to primary sources. (October 2023)" and "may not meet Wikipedia's notability guideline for biographies. (October 2023)".
1. My guess that the former statement is due to the original references being not specific enough, I had gone and updated each and every reference with the details to the official sites like https://www.gymnastics.sport/ that lists all teams for a given competition. Such sites do require selection of a discipline and type, i.e. "Rhythmic Group Senior", "Group All-Around" and "United States" in case of a 6th reference - this would display USA taking a 12th place. Note, original article is created by USA FIG and lists references like https://www.the-sports.org/ that would omit in most cases countries that have not placed in top three or top eight, thus all such references are complemented with the references to https://www.gymnastics.sport/ that tracks all details but does require extra work in selecting details.
2. Not sure how to address the second statement and would expect that it is related to the first one,
As such, the ask is to rescan the article using additional references and remove the offending banner. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.211.32.60 (talk) 22:08, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
