Governor John Gilligan

[edit]

I removed the previous link to Governor Sebelius's father. Obviously, this John Gilligan is a different John Gilligan that the Governor's father.
I suggest someone make a Governor John Gilligan page.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.159.45.30 (talkcontribs) 19:39, 30 July 2005‎ (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I fixed the problem. The new link is John J. Gilligan.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.159.45.30 (talkcontribs) 19:44, 30 July 2005‎ (UTC)[reply]

Position regarding chronic fatigue syndrome / myalgic encephalomyelitis

[edit]

Could somebody write something about her continuos actions against progress in CFS/ME treatment an diagnostic research? Right now (04/11/2013), she is triying to change the case definition of this desease with the help of a single intitution called IOM, with the aparent objetive of defining the desease as something merely psichologycal, thus reducing funds on it. Interesting Wikipedia historical problem: Sebelius and Barry Bonds

[edit]

Rightly or wrongly, we use the word "historic" to mean "it matters to us even now." That changes constantly and, to reflect the change, so does an encyclopedia entry. The copy of the newspaper celebrating Barry Bonds breaking the home run record was historic when I collected it, but now no longer is. The scandal will have replaced it. Most of Bonds's wikipedia entry had to be rewritten. Now that Kathleen Sebelius has accepted the blame for the truly "historic" failure of the Obamacare launch, this entire article, like Barry Bonds's, has to be rewritten around the historic event she will henceforth be known for, at least outside the states in which she or her father was a governor. I came to it hoping to find some information about her education, to show me how she or the President thought she was equipped to supervise such a massive website, for instance. Nothing here about it. But that is what future users will come here to find out. Just as "Bonds" represents something different now, so does "Sebelius." The article has to be reorganized.Profhum (talk) 21:34, 21 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

SCOTUS cases named for her

[edit]

It might be a useful addition to the article to name the landmark Supreme Court cases which include her name in their titles. I won't just do it, but am hoping to see some support for this suggestion & also uncertain how it might be worked in. The obvious section is the one about the ACA.
