I don't know how to add the clean-up or photo request tags. This is a notable subject but needs a lot of work to get up to snuff.

It could be merged with Kathina, or, better yet, Kathina's section on Thailand: Kathin (Thai: กฐิน) merged with "Gathin Festival" once transliteration issues get ironed out.
I have some pix of the "Christmas tree" money trees I could upload, but I'll wager others have better. Also, "Thailand Kathin" needs Royal Barge Procession pix.
Holiday Infobox needed.
Categories needed.
What else? The crocodile with the rose in his teeth would be nice, if anyone has a reference as to what it means.

In keeping with our precedence of using RTGS for article titles, I'm taking the liberty to move this article to Kathin Festival.
