Subject is notable. He fits the notability guidelines as agreed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket. He has also played international cricket for two countries, and has represented his country at a major international sporting event (Commonwealth Games). When someone other than the person that created the page says that, then I will believe it. You sound too biased. Will (Talk - contribs) 23:43, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
WP:BIO: Sportspeople/athletes/competitors who have played in a fully professional league, or a competition of equivalent standing in a non-league sport such as swimming, or at the highest level in mainly amateur sports or other competitive activities that are themselves considered notable, including college sports in the United States.
The national team in a country has to be considered the highest level. Sam Vimes | Address me 23:58, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The top level of multi-day cricket is designated "first-class", whereas the top level of one-day cricket is designated "List A". This guy has already played 58 such games. He is therefore notable enough, per WP:BIO and WP:Cricket guidelines, for an article of his own. jguk 12:57, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
