Karla's Current Career

[edit]

Karla Mosley does other things besides Hi-5. For example, she recently starred in the off-broadway production of "Drift". More research should be done about this.

WP:PROD is a no no!!

[edit]

Please do not propose this article for deletion!! Karla Mosley is one of five HOSTS of a very popular childrens television show called Hi-5, which is on TLC every weekday morning and on Discovery Kids twice every weekday. The show has been nominated for an Emmy award THREE times. In addition, Karla and the rest of the cast have performed on NBC's today show FOUR times, and have been on virtually all broadcast networks (NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, CW, etc.). Hi-5 performs to sell out crowds all over the U.S. and Canada. All in all, she is NOT a minor character of a MINOR TV show - Karla Mosley is a huge name in childrens television and a rising star in the NY theatrical scene. If you'd like to dispute that, I'd be glad to discuss it with you. Thanks.

Thank you for your response. The reason for the PROD is that much of the information above, which does establish notabilty, is missing from the article. In addition, the article needs more sources. While IMDB is ok for checking credits, it's not considered a reliable source in terms of biographical info as the information is user submitted and unsourced. There should be some additional sources provided in order to properly conform with WP:BLP. Cheers! *Exeunt* Ganymead | Dialogue? 13:49, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hyphen

[edit]

Shouldn't there be a hyphen in her last name? If so, then shouldn't the spelling of her name in the title and the body of the article be changed to reflect that? 64.180.93.200 (talk) 21:12, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

She usually uses "Cheatham" as a middle name. The credits from Hi-5 are the exception but since she's credited as "Karla Mosley" or (less often) "Karla Cheatham Mosley" everywhere else that's what we should go by on Wikipedia. --Joseph123454321 (talk) 22:38, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
