There is no obvious connection between Widemann having sold books to Rudolph II and one of those books being what is now called the VM: and Widemann would have been one of many 'sellers of interesting items.' Jackiespeel (talk) 21:28, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The source here lists his name as someone who sold books to Rudolph (among others). So it is at least a plausibility, also since there is a connection to Kelley and Dee. The sale took place years after working for Kelley. And because he was someone who collected manuscripts. prokaryotes (talk) 22:59, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The heading implies a stronger degree of certainty than the text appears to justify - he sold books to Rudolph, and may thus have handled the VM' would be more in line with WP practices. Jackiespeel (talk) 09:09, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Helps non linear readers, WP is not a manuscript. prokaryotes (talk) 11:39, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
While I can see the connection, it could be a little less implicit. Jackiespeel (talk) 22:46, 26 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
