[edit]After reading about Karl L. Rundberg, former L.A.City Councilman and my father on your website, I became very upset with your orening paragraph. Alth ough it is true that he was convicted of bribery, it is also true that this conviction was reversed be a State Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court denied the states' pertition for a review, thus upholding the lower court. Please refer to articlles in the L.A. Times, Dec 15, 1970 "Court Upholds Reversals of 2 Convictions"; Culver City Evening Star-Times Dec 16, 1970, "Rundberg conviction reversed by court"; L.A. Heral-Exzminer April 7, 1970 "Smith Found Innocent" last part of article "Called Strange Deal".
In respect for his memory and and his family, I feel that this information SHOULD BE NOTED in your opening paragraph since it pertains directly to and has an influence on the other information given. This would be considered responsible reporting of the total facts.(70.130.139.175 (talk) 12:58, 22 March 2012 (UTC))
