Very one-sided account
[edit]Hoblitzelle was a very controversial figure at the time. According to Caro, he was an arch-conservative lobbyist in the 30s and 40s and he was behind the firing of University of Texas professors who spoke in favor of unions. Here is an account of his "philantropic" (as it is depicted in the main article) work at the University of Texas. https://houstonhistorymagazine.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/battle-for-the-texas-mind.pdf Someone should include some of this in the main text. I rather not do it, as I may be baised myself. 131.130.85.52 (talk) 13:18, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
