Emperor? There was no German Kaiser until 1871. There had been no Holy Roman Emperor since 1806. This would have to be Franz Joseph I of Austria. Does that make sense to influence an appointmnent in Bonn? Cutler 12:03, August 16, 2005 (UTC)
--- I noticed the same thing. I changed "emperor" to "government". 2009 June 2.
