Notation
[edit]The right-hand side depends only on a constant α, but the text says that the function depends on two constants, viz. a and b. Furthermore, what is the domain of the mapping (I suppose x ∈ [0,1) and y ∈ R)? -- Jitse Niesen 14:47, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
