Why not map links?
I don't understand why the 2 external map links were deleted. I notice dromoz.com is blacklisted by Wikipedia. But please reconsider this: I have found dromoz.com's messy collection of maps useful for developing countries where we don't have extensive and detailed map services comparable to the U.S. or Europe (GPS-quality electronic maps, Google Map, MapQuest, etc).
In addition, probably the only relevant landmark in Kamunting is the Kamunting Detention Center, where many political prisoners were held without trial. Hence the external link to Wikimapia map centered around this detention center is relevant and accurate depiction of Kamunting's importance.
The below are the two Revision entries from http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Kamunting&action=history that I question:
(cur) (last) 01:51, 22 December 2007 Hu12 (Talk | contribs) (1,698 bytes) (rvt www.dromoz.com spam) (undo) (cur) (last) 01:44, 22 December 2007 Hu12 (Talk | contribs) m (1,768 bytes) (Reverted edits by 218.111.159.217 (talk) to last version by SmackBot) (undo)
I strongly suggest that these 2 map links be re-introduced into this article.
But since I am not highly familiar with Wikipedia editorial standards, I stop short of directly undoing the reversions, and will leave it to the other editors to make a judgment.

One thing that is very significant in Kamunting is the big mound in the Hakka cemetary. I was told that it is where the bodies of the people who died during the Larut wars was placed. I can't remember the size of the mound but I know it was huge: about the size of a 2 storey building. As I am no longer resident in Malaysia, I can't get to the cemetary easily to take a photograph to add to the wikipedia text.
