Solubility to water?

[edit]

If soluble to water, then paper filtered coffee contains kahweol.

If only soluble to fat, then most kahweol is filtered out of paper filtered coffee.

If Kahweol and Cafestol both are depterpenes, and the following wikipedia article is true, one doesn't get much kahweol from paper filtered coffee (but metal filter doesn't remove it):

https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Cafestol

"In filtered coffee drinks such as drip brewed coffee, it is present in only negligible amounts, as the paper filter in drip filtered coffee retains the DITERPENES".
