Merger

Why won't we merge and redirect this article with the main article on Mauthausen-Gusen concentration camp? That one has several merits:

  1. It's peer-reviewed
  2. Significantly better when it comes to style
  3. It's a featured article
  4. It's sourced
  5. It already includes 99% of what is written here...

KZ GusenGusen concentration camp — Conformity to other articles on concentration camps and avoidance of German acronyms. Gusen concentration camp pointed previously to Mauthausen-Gusen concentration camp. However, this is wrong as long as the pages have not been merged.  Andreas  (T) 18:05, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

  • moved old gusen article to KZ Gusen, because Gusen is a name of a river. greetings Klemens (Preceding unsigned comment added 18 November 2007 by User:Blackbirdkd)</samll>

regarding geographic coordinates

When listing geographic coordinates it is important to always include the geographic projection (if any), and specify the geodetic datum used. ALL coordinates, even latitude & longitude, use a geodetic datum. There are several geodetic datums in use around the world, so we cannot simply assume we are all using the same one. The location will not display in the appropriate spot on the globe or map if the correct geodetic datum (for the coordinates listed) is not the same as the datum set for the map display.

Please add the geodetic datum used to derive the latitude & longitude listed on this page.
