- It's probably implied in this circumstance.

Early history in Muskogee

Maybe pipe link John Toole "J. T." Griffin to Griffin Media.

The first time UHF is mentioned it should be "Ultra high frequency (UHF)"

in "Muskogee Phoenix and Times-Democrat" only the former should be linked as Times-Democrat isnt mentioned at target

That's how the paper was published. It looks like the deficiency is in the article on the newspaper, unfortunately. The papers were merged and apparently published as the Phoenix and Times-Democrat into the new millennium. The Times-Democrat appears to have been the afternoon sister to the morning (Daily) Phoenix for many years.

Transfer to Tulsa

The title of the section seems misleading, has it been transferring to Tusla since 1957?

Not conflicts with KTUL but between Allbritton and Sinclair in other markets that delayed processing of the deal. I could tell you a lot about some of the bizarre things they were proposing!

You misread this. The show was on the air as You Make the Call 1998–2012 and renamed/reformatted in 2012 while remaining a sports show.

Whoa, this section definitely needed to just go. Not only is it out of date particularly after having the news department gutted in 2023, it's cited to TV listings. It may help to explain that KTUL is different from most GAs I bring forth in that it is a major size reduction. The editor who wrote most Oklahoma TV station pages and some in other markets, mostly the South, has the densest, cruftiest possible style, despite some good references in the mix, and his pages are very tough reads (try reading KOTV-DT, I dare you!). Prior to being GAN'd, KTUL was "sheared" and decreased in readable prose size by 56%. In other words, the article is less than half of its pre-shearing size.

Checked non newspaper.com sources as I don't have a subscription to newspaper. Everything lined up Im going to AGF that the Newspapers are accurate.

@OlifanofmrTennant: Changes done. Read my note about this being a "sheared" page. If this topic area interests you, there is no shortage of massive work required (particularly in Oklahoma!) to shear the very bloated sheep.
