KKLS AM was formerly KEZU, which was originally licensed in on August 14, 1959. It was granted a modification of its license to change its call letters to KKLS on July 9, 1971. This information is listed in the online record at the FCC, here: Broadcasting Station License Record, but I'm not exactly sure how to add this to the article so I'm leaving it here instead in hopes that someone better than I am at updating Wikipedia will do so.
