Fair use rationale for Image:KCMGMega1003logo.jpg

[edit]

Image:KCMGMega1003logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Page Ownership Issues and Conflicting Edits

[edit]

Some users are feeling certain things belong in one place and others feel things belong elsewhere. They need to talk these things over. This article has had FAR too many edits in the past 24 hours and most of it is either vandalism or editing wars. There are at least 2, maybe 3 users who seem to feel this page is theirs and they have the right to either be ok with, or not allow certain content on the page even if it is verified. This is not what Wikipedia is about. Frankly, it's very easy to see how things ought to be placed and written by just looking at other stations of this format and branding and also reading this article and seeing how the majority of it is written and designed. There are some specific battles going on but if you're reading this, you know what they are. Keep it professional and remember, you don't own a Wikipedia page; it's not yours, and if the edit is accurate and clear, its fine. Let go of your own masterpiece in favour of making Wikipedia a better place for all of us. Thank you. 208.242.193.2 (talk) 17:15, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

[edit]

It's time to bring the content of KQLZ (defunct) into this article, though it will probably need cutting down to avoid undue weight issues. One license, one article. Raymie (tc) 06:09, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support merger: Both articles are about the same station and there are no exceptional circumstances to warrant a separate article. As far as cutting down content to avoid undue weight issues, this is not a WP:BLP or an article on a contentious issue, where that would really be a problem. Duplicated content and content that cannot be reliably sourced should be trimmed out of the article. However, most of the sources cited are reliable sources. If the merger results in one period of the station's history receiving more coverage than other periods, the solution is to expand the sections discussing other periods (if sources are available to make that possible).--Tdl1060 (talk) 00:29, 2 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
