Well-written

[edit]

Overall, prose is very clear and understandable. It's certainly well written. The article does comply with the manual of style.

Verifiable

[edit]

The references, which appear to be of good quality, are all cited inline. The article did not, from my reading, appear to contain original research.

The sources I checked for Verifiability include the following,

  1. "In dire straits, Kamaraj kin get Congress aid for education". The Times of India. 23 October 2013. Archived from the original on 20 January 2019.
  2. Ramachandra Guha (2017). "War and succession". India After Gandhi: The History of the World's Largest Democracy. Pan Macmillan. ISBN 978-1-509-88328-8.
  3. State wise literacy rates (PDF) (Report). Government of India. Archived (PDF) from the original on 29 September 2023.
  4. Awana, Ram Singh (1988). Pressure Politics in Congress Party: A Study of the Congress Forum for Socialist Action. New Delhi: Northern Book Centre. p. 105. ISBN 978-8-185-11943-4. Archived from the original on 1 July 2023.
  5. 1962 Madras State Election Results (PDF) (Report). Election Commission of India. Archived from the original (PDF) on 27 January 2013.

All sources I checked were verifiable.

Broad Coverage

[edit]

Passes with no trouble, the article covers Kamaraj's life in detail.

Neutral

[edit]

This article maintains a neutral point of view on the politician, passing this criteria.

Stable

[edit]

No major editing warring appears to have taken place recently, and vandalism is rare.

Illustration

[edit]

The images included should be plenty, provided they are not copyright violations. The lead image on the infobox is published by the Government of India and appears to be fair use. The second image belongs to the uploader's family and is therefore considered fair use. The third image is uploaded as the author's own work, and is thus considered fair use. The fourth image appears to be public domain. Finally, the last image, uploaded by the Flickr upload bot, would also be considered fair use. As there appears to be no copyright violations, this article passes this criteria.
