Note: this represents where the article stands relative to the Good Article criteria. Criteria marked are unassessed

1. Well-written

  • Consider breaking up the Becoming the starter (2018–present) even further because it is currently quite long. Maybe 2021-present can be another subsection with a title like Starter (2021-present)
  • Per MOS:ALLCAPS, could the references with all-caps titles (6, 14, 49, and 52) be changed?  Done
  • Saros played his entire youth career and first three professional seasons with hometown club... Add "his" before "hometown"  Done
  • He finished his rookie season with a 17–10–2 record, a 2.62 goals against average, a .915 save percentage. Add "and" before "a .915 save percentage"  Done
  • He began the season as the steadfast backup to Rinne but they transitioned into an even split rather than starter/backup roles as the season continued. Add a comma after "Rinne"  Done
  • Saros finished in fourth place with two first place votes, two second place votes, and eight third place votes. Add a hyphen for first/second/third-place votes.  Done

2. Verifiable
Earwig's Copyvio check passed. Sources are all reliable.

  • Ref 39 needs |publisher=National Hockey League in the citation template  Done
  • There should be consistency in the references on whether it's Sportsnet.ca or Sportsnet  Done
  • Are there sources for the Career Statistics section?
    • @Riley1012: At the bottom of the article in external sources it says Biographical information and career statistics from.... HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 12:20, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Spot check:
  • No issues: 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 16, 21, 26, 35, 43, 50, 60, 68, 78, 81, 91, 100, 107

3. Broad

  • The 2016 IIHF World Championship should be discussed in the body since it's mentioned in the lead  Done
  • Is there anything else of note that could be added to the Personal life section? I noticed in ref. 3 that he has an older brother that could be mentioned.  Done

4. Neutral
The article is neutral.

5. Stable
This article is stable day-to-day.

6. Illustrated
The images in the article are free and have relevant captions.

@HickoryOughtShirt?4: Nice article, just a few things that need to be addressed. -Riley1012 (talk) 21:57, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
