Is the celebration of "Antichristmas" really widespread enough to merit inclusion here? Joyous! | Talk 21:06, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
Cullinan
[edit]# 1905 - Cullinan Diamond, the largest rough gem-quality diamond known, is discovered by Frederick Wells.
Article Cullinan Diamond says: "The Cullinan Diamond, found by Frederick Wells, surface manager of the Premier Diamond Mining Company in Cullinan, Gauteng, South Africa, on January 26, 1905".
One of the dates must be wrong? Siim 11:40, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
- User:Dwaltman made that change to the article of Cullinan Diamond. Seems to be vandalism. Siim 11:45, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
France in WWII
[edit]The armistice was signed on June 22, 1940: see Second Compiègne Armistice. That page notes that the cease-fire went into effect on June 25, 1940, but the June 25 date seems of relatively minor significance to the armistice negotiation and signing itself. Thoughts? Michael Jackson?
[edit]Is it possible if you could menion Michael Jackson's death under events. I feel it is a very large turning point in the music industry and pop culture. I hope you will accept my edit request. Kansas212 (talk) 15:49, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
Israeli territory?
[edit]Gilad was kidnapped from the state of Israel, last time i checked. "israeli territory" is a bit foggy term. the place where he was kidnapped from is not disputed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Itai22 (talk • contribs) 15:49, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
Nitza Saul
[edit]http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Nitza_Saul states the actress was born in Israel but this page refers to her as English. Please can this be clarified? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Robata (talk • contribs) 18:49, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
Lord Mountbatten
[edit]Lord Mountbatten's entry should read 'British'. I have changed it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Robata (talk • contribs) 18:51, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Cholera
[edit]I’ve got to admit, I only had a very quick look.
But couldn’t see a reference for for the cholera statistic on 25th June, 2017.
I DID managed to look up this link.
Is it possible to incorporate it into the relevant page, and link to the entry, here?
Thanks. 17:16, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
"no new entries without inline citations"
[edit]Hello, I just accepted a pending change because the inserted person was notable enough to have an article. If a person is notable enough to have an article, I (or anyone else) can add that person to the births or deaths list, right? However, I see that Deb (talk · contribs) has reverted some edits that seemed fine after saying that "no new entries without inline citations." I'm confused by this, so I would appreciate it if anyone can explain to me (and link me to) the policy on inline citations on this article. Thank you! William2001(talk) 20:16, 22 June 2019 (UTC)
- Speaking of inline citations, I should probably cite the quote by Deb. Here is the link: [1]. William2001(talk) 20:18, 22 June 2019 (UTC)

Semi-protected edit request on 25 June 2019
[edit]This edit request has been answered. Set the |answered= or |ans= parameter to no to reactivate your request. |
Please add an event: on the 25th of June 1983, India won the Cricket World Cup against West Indies 157.33.235.118 (talk) 13:20, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
- Not done: Sports championships are not typically included in the day-of-year articles unless they're particularly notable for reasons other than the victory itself. (If this win is included, then all Cricket World Cup winners should be included. If all Cricket World Cup winners are included, then why not the T20 World Cup? FIFA World Cup? World Archery Championships? How about individual Olympic events? Etc, etc. It can spiral out of control quickly.) ‑‑ElHef (Meep?) 14:08, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
- Someone added it anyways. Will remove said edit per your "Not Done" reasoning Antiwesley (talk) 06:44, 25 June 2022 (UTC)
- likely this request came about as a movie about the event premiered in India itself Antiwesley (talk) 06:48, 25 June 2022 (UTC)
National Catfish Day
[edit]the article includes the text of the proclamation which specifies that June 25 1987 was to be NCD. I.e. not every June 25. Should be removed. --142.163.195.61 (talk) 23:12, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
- so should be removed. Any contraminded? --142.163.195.90 (talk) 22:12, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
