Fatboy Slim?

[edit]

On Fatboy Slim's Wikipedia article, it says he was born on July 31. But this page says he was born on July 16. Whats the deal with that, and which is his real birthday? Ka5hmir 04:14, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

JFK Jr death date wrong

[edit]

this page states that John F. Kennedy Jr died on July 16th, but it was definitively the 18th. i remember this, because July 18th is my birthday.

If you follow the link on to the sources in the main article, here, they all state it was July 16th; perhaps the bodies were retrieved on the 18th? Lectonar (talk) 07:12, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Julius Plücker

[edit]

Julius Plücker (16 June 1801 – 22 May 1868) should be added to the births section and linked to http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Julius_Pl%C3%BCcker —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ronelling (talkcontribs) 12:56, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is July 16, not June 16. It's already listed on June 16. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 13:15, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Asia's longest-serving political leader

[edit]

According to your July 16 Anniversary page, the claim that in 1981, Dr. Mahathir Mohamad who became Malaysia's 4th Prime Minister; his 22 years in office, ending with retirement on 31 October 2003, made him Asia's longest-serving political leader.[1]

However, Singapore's 1st Prime Minister, Mr Lee Kuan Yew would definitely have served a longer period of time as his tenure as Prime Minister was from the 3rd June 1959 – 28th November 1990.

Even if it was to discount that Singapore only achieved independence from Malaysia since 9th August 1965, and his taking of office on the 12th August 1965, He would still have been Asia's longest-serving political leader with 25 years, 3 months, 16 days in office. [2]

Please include the birthday of Tomás Eloy Martínez, Argentine journalist and writer. (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Tom%C3%A1s_Eloy_Mart%C3%ADnez) Warmstrings (talk) 11:09, 16 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: there are no sources for the date of birth (and date of death) in the linked article; without providing some, this might not be added. Lectonar (talk) 11:46, 16 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Done. They're stated in authority control so I've gone ahead with this one, but you're right they should be explicitly cited on the article. —Nizolan (talk · c.) 12:15, 16 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
