"Ares of Damas"

What on earth does this mean? Is it supposed to say "area of Damascus"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.189.26.84 (talk) 22:02, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I imagine it may have originally been a translation from the French Wikipedia article, as Damas is Damascus in French. "Ares" seems to be a likely type for "area". Adam Bishop (talk) 01:19, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
