What additional value does this article provide compared to Judo Federation of India?

[edit]

The Discoverer What additional value does this article have compared to Judo Federation of India? Where is the content that does fit here but does not fit in the JFI article? This article just increases the time to keep everything up to date. IPPON01 (talk) 09:40, 2 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@IPPON01 Topics like the history of Judo in India, its position in Indian society and culture, achievements of Indian judokas in international events and notable Indian judokas belong to Judo in India, while the history of JFI, its subordinate organisations, office-bearers, activities and centres are within the scope of the Judo Federation article. The Judo in India article has a very wide scope and ultimately, even JFI falls under the scope of this article.
I will proceed to delete the sections 'Total medals won by Indian Judo Players in Major tournaments' and 'Notable Indian Judokas' from Judo Federation of India in order to avoid a content fork.

Than write the part first, that does not cover the history of the JFI... IPPON01 (talk) 14:13, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
