Date of birth
[edit]It is different from the one at Find-A-Grave. Lincher 19:13, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
- Find a Grave is not as reliable as the Social Security Death Index, which indicates 1897. Anderson herself stated during her interview with Boze Hadleigh for his book, Hollywood Lesbians, that she was "past 40" at the time of her first marriage, which was in 1937. - I've fixed the year back to 1897. But I'm curious: was she, or is she alleged to have been, a lesbian? -- Jack of Oz [your turn] 22:06, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
Star Trek
[edit]I don't remember where I read it, but in an interview, Anderson said that it was her godchildren, fans of Star Trek, who convinced her to take the role in the movie. Perhaps someone can supply a citation? -- kosboot (talk) 22:44, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

Judith Anderson as Mrs Danvers in Rebecca
[edit]I didn't realise what an esteemed stage actress Judith Anderson was. I'm surprised not to see a photo of her playing Mrs Danvers in Hitchcock's classic, Rebecca. I'd have thought that has to be her most famous film role. I don't know who writes these articles, but may I offer adding that photo as a polite suggestion? Thank you. 2A00:23C7:D101:9F01:4C2F:FF2D:AD21:D2E4 (talk) 18:03, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
