Notability
[edit]I seemingly can't prove that this person is notable, but I decided to create this article anyway. Due to when he was most active, it seems that some online sources concerning him have rotted but might be recovered with effort, and I imagine a great deal of material about him from the time of his greatest prominence in the 1980s was never made available online. This source, which appears to be an encyclopedia article about him, may be useful, but it is paywalled and I'm not willing to spend the money. —Compassionate727 (T·C) 20:41, 5 March 2022 (UTC)

- ... that while serving his nighttime prison sentence for writing articles critical of the government, Juan Pablo Cárdenas continued doing so during the day? Source: https://web.archive.org/web/20160312073358/http://www.freemedia.at/awards/press-freedom-heroes/juan-pablo-cardenas.html
- Comment: You can remove "nighttime" from the hook if you think it isn't "catchy" enough as it is. I can also submit other hooks if desired, but this fact is by far the most interesting thing in the article.

- — Article is new enough and long enough. Image has Creative Commons license. Hook is (very) interesting and within prescribed limits. Sources check. No copyvio detected by Earwigs Copyvio Detector. (I would leave "nighttime" in the hook to clarify and exemplify that Squella continued his activities during the day time.) Article is Good to Go. -- Gwillhickers (talk) 02:45, 9 March 2022 (UTC)
