Fair use rationale for Image:Marquez suspension3.jpg

[edit]

Image:Marquez suspension3.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Removal of {{WikiProject LGBT studies |class=C}}

[edit]

I noticed and confirmed the URL in this edit summary.[1] Here is the archive,[2] and that page has been moved here.[3] It is the official web page of the Romanza Japan Boxing Gym that Ignacio Beristáin approved of. Here (at the bottom of the top page) is written as Cooperated by Nacho Beristain, Juan Manuel Marquez, Rafael Marquez, Melchor Cob Castro, Ricardo Lopez.[4] Why do everyone believe that Juan Manuel Márquez is a gay? If you say he is a gay, then Ignacio Beristáin[5], Ricardo López[6], Melchor Cob Castro[7], Rafael Márquez[8] and many other world champions whose photos have been posted on that website would be gays. --Akira Kouchiyama 17:39, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

no citation

[edit]
He is also famous for drinking his own urine during training sessions but the doctors eventually recommended him to stop the practice[3]

the citation doesn't mention anything about this. I'm editing it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.177.74.143 (talk) 01:27, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removal Angel Hernandez's past experience

[edit]

Another editor of this article has removed the mention of Angel Hernandez's (Marquez's trainer) past dealing with performance enhancing drugs. Hernandez was a star witness against Victor Conte and testified that he himself sold performance-enhancing drugs directly to as many as eight Olympic champions. This information has been widely reported on and is readily sourced. Furthermore, the content in the article is very neutral in only mentioning the controversy surrounding Hernandez's past.
