@Red Rose 13: I just noticed that ref #1 is dead... Please fix it. --Governor Sheng (talk) 01:29, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I just recently put that there and now the link isn't working. Give me time to find another.Red Rose 13 (talk) 01:44, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, take as long as you like. Before notifying you, I made sure it was you who added the link, or that you even participated in editing the article. :) Governor Sheng (talk) 01:46, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Citation needed tag bombing

[edit]

GSheng why are you 'citation needed' spamming on this page? I have proven over and over again that Sullivans book is a reliable secondary source. What you are doing is a disservice to Wikipedia and its readers. Editors cannot just 'citation needed' spam on the books they do not like or agree with, all over a page. It is not about personal preference. If it wasn't so ridiculous, it would be laughable.Red Rose 13 (talk) 10:17, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You might *think* that you proved something. But... you haven't. Sorry. You're wrong. Regarding Sullivan, other sources proved him wrong, not my own interpretation of his writings. Sullivan is biased, partisan source, who's work wasn't recognized by other scholars (experts) and Grove press that published his book, basically an essay on his religious journey, isn't reputable for publishing scholarly work (they publish novels and belletristic - a genre Sullivan's book belongs to). This is nicely outlined in WP:SCHOLARSHIP. Governor Sheng (talk) 11:38, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
From the same page "Reliable non-academic sources may also be used in articles about scholarly issues, particularly material from high-quality mainstream publications." Red Rose 13 (talk) 22:58, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I am requesting that you revert the spamming of citation needed next to a secondary source - this one by Sullivan.Red Rose 13 (talk) 20:12, 18 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
