Peer review status of a supplement
[edit]Seeking help determining the peer review status of a supplement to this journal; it had different editors. Please see Talk:Monosodium_glutamate.--Elvey(t•c) 02:41, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
Elvey, journal "supplements" may be little more than journal-format ads, with a separate supplement editor appointed by the organization funding the supplement. If the journal does not explicitly publish a suitable policy, the sources may not be independent or reliable. See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine/Archive 109#Sponsored_supplement? and conflicts of interest in academic publishing. HLHJ (talk) 01:56, 24 August 2018 (UTC)
