Does anyone think that the warning flag on the top of the page is able to be removed? 50.35.183.119 (talk) 04:38, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Cyrus' sexuality

[edit]

I've substituted the People article with a Deadline article on the matter as People was wrong on one particular detail. By definition, Cyrus is not openly gay. The definition of being openly gay is that said individual doesn't hide who they are from the public and people know they are gay and it's there for people who don't they're gay to know. If they're in a relationship, they might also hold hands, show some affection, etc. in public without worry. With Cyrus, only Buffy (S2 E1) and Andi (S2 E13) know so far. The rest of the main characters and the recurring characters don't know nor does the whole school. That's what we would informally call being closeted. The information about his character is excessive detail in a bio article about the actor. Irrelevant to the actor himself. If this is a big deal then the show article will have all the details as to why. In general I don't think going into details about roles is appropriate in any actor article, just saying what role played and on what series is sufficient. Why we link things is for people who want more details. Geraldo Perez (talk) 16:05, 6 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Lactose Intolerant

[edit]

What's up with the lactose intolerance edit war that's going on? Some random searching comes up with Frank_Iero#cite_note-https://twitter.com/FrankIero-4 which seems equally well sourced and equally relevant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mattlafy (talkcontribs) 01:25, 11 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. He’s told Twitter that it is relevant enough for his Wiki. Ewancarmichael05 (talk) 10:08, 11 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

First things first: WP:Don't abbreviate Wikipedia as Wiki... now that that's out of my system... It doesn't matter for the most part what he feels should and shouldn't be in the article. That sounds like trivial information to me, so it might be removed for that, too. Zach Callison is someone else who, as a primary source, has confirmed being lactose intolerant, but it's not mentioned on his article because it's trivial information that's not extensively covered in secondary reliable sources about him. There's a similar dearth of sources for Josh (even though he as a primary source may have confirmed it), which contribute to its inclusion seeming a tad undue in the grand scheme of "things that could be in a Joshua Rush encyclopedia article". Contrast, say, Selena Gomez and lupus/transplantation (which have been covered in many reliable sources), or Cameron Boyce, whose death was related to epilepsy (hence it being reasonable to include in the article in his case). I think it makes sense to leave out in the absence of less/no extensive coverage. - Purplewowies (talk) 20:07, 11 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
