Successsion box issue
[edit]As of the 1887 election, New Westminster (electoral district), became a two-seat riding, so there were two successors, Donald Chisholm and T.J. Trapp; so it strikes me that both should be in the succession box. Thereafter individual successions may be traced, as with Chisholm dying in office in 1890 he had one successor only, but in general in dual seats (sometimes triple or more) should be succession-boxed showing both members.
