Notability?[edit]

There's no assertion of notability so far, in my opinion. I'll lay out the issues:

Awards (especially local/alumni awards) do not confer notability. The fixation on awards here makes the article look like WP:PEACOCKing.
Non-notable or not-yet-extant businesses do not make their founder notable. As far as I can tell, his products have only been funded, not launched.
Being referenced as a "subject expert" does not actually show qualification or notability.

On the use of independent news: The writer of the Wired article seems to believe that "Carduino" is/was the only publicly available OBDII tool, for some reason. The publicity surrounding Siegel in automotive security appears to be based on false pretenses, capitalizing on the contemporary panic about malicious car hacking. Puffery[edit]

This page just appears to be a self promotional page. The subject won a couple awards in college. None of the companies referenced appear to even exist. Why does this page exist?
