This page doesn't sound very nuetral and encyclopedic as in the sentence, "The end result has made it mandatory for teens to get more driving experience under their belts before obtaining a license and hopefully will save numerous young lives through its enactment"

Unassisted Driving on a CP Permit

[edit]

In the article it says:

"However, teen drivers are eligible to drive unassisted when:

  • Not having transportation to receive prescribed medical attention or obtaining prescribed drugs
  • Regularly attending scheduled school in which the student is enrolled. There is also to be no more than one passenger in the vehicle."

I can find nothing substantiating this statement. Best I can determine, in Georgia, with a CP, you *must* always have a licensed driver in the vehicle with you. There is no exception mentioned in 40-5-24, so I am going to consider Ga. O.C.G.A. 40-5-24 as my cite, and remove that bit.AtlantaSteve (talk) 02:58, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
