– The two Josh Kennedys were originally disambiguated by initial, until they were moved to their current titles in September 2014, with the explanation that they were "not known by initial" [1]. This is inaccurate, as the AFL's website (and all other football media as far as I'm aware) distinguish the players based on their initials. (Disambiguation by team would be non-standard and is not really an option, given that both players have played for multiple teams). Initials are far more recognisable to the reader than date of birth, and disambiguation by initials is already used for other VFL/AFL players (e.g. the two Graeme Andersons, the two George Chapmans, and the two Arthur Edwardses).
