Problem

This article doesn’t make sense. How could two of his works be "lost during the burning of the Talmud in Padua in 1414" if he wasn’t born until 1494? Mccapra (talk) 06:26, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Mccapra: The author of the sefaria.org page about Joseph Ibn Yayha, confused Joseph ibn Yahya ben Solomon and Joseph ibn Yayha ben David to be the same person. As for the "burning of the Talmud in Padua in 1414", the Jewish Encyclopedia only states that his works were "destroyed in a conflagration". Ibn Daud (talk) 15:04, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
