Clean-up needed

[edit]

Apologies for making grammatical and spelling corrections without last logging in. However, just adding this note to say that text of article was found in a terrible state with non-vandal issues that need serious clean-up. Also there are far too many quotations without citations! Not my area of specific expertise, so am noting this to (hopefully) raise awareness. This article needs some help. --gobears87 (talk) 10:17, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that Edes and Gill were tried for publishing Warrens essays- Warren was not as far as I can find.

  • A citation isn't required to prove Dr. Warren was featured in Liberty's Kids. You can find the episode easily enough on YouTube. I suppose a citation could be provided by linking to the article on Liberty's Kids? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Noble Korhedron (talkcontribs) 01:15, 15 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Death Section

[edit]

In the Death section, the article states that Dr. Warren was commissioned a Major General in the Continental Army by the Continental Congress on June 14, 1775. This is incorrect, and is at odds with the Introduction which states, correctly, that he was commissioned a Major General in the Massachusetts militia by the Massachusetts Provincial Congress on Jun 14, 1775.
