Stalin´s cult to personality didnt exist, it was voluntary, delete this article

I quote Stalin "I must say in all conscience, comrades, that I do not deserve a good half of the flattering things that have been said here about me. I am, it appears, a hero of the October Revolution, the leader of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, the leader of the Communist International, a legendary warrior-knight and all the rest of it. This is absurd, comrades, and quite unnecessary exaggeration. It is the sort of thing that is usually said at the graveside of a departed revolutionary. But I have no intention of dying yet...." (J. V. Stalin: Works, Volume 8; Moscow; 1954; p. 182). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.83.106.157 (talk) 21:57, 8 December 2016 (UTC)

This quote is from a speech by Joseph V. Stalin on June 8, 1926, where he was replying to the zealous greeting he had received from the workers of the Chief Railway Workshops in Tiflis.[1] Reading the full speech, Stalin was clearly attributing his personality and success to his tutelage by Lenin and others, and grandstanding through perceived humility to impress and increase his stature as a proletariat leader, a man of the people, like the people, for the people. The quote used to recommend the deletion appears to be taken out-of-context and in-context supports the existence of Stalin’s cult of personality. B.M. Adkins 02:01, 21 January 2019 (UTC)
