Fan of Chelsea FC?

[edit]

This is a list of celebrities, alive and dead, it is believed support Chelsea, their allegiance cannot be guarantee but most have been verified.

"Believed"? And even if "most" have been verified, they don't actually provide the verification, nor do they specify which are rumors and which are confirmed. It therefore fails to meet the standard. If anyone can supply an actual citation for the claim, please put it back. --Chancemichaels 20:29, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Chancemichaels[reply]

Ancestry

[edit]

Apparently, last fall an IP added ancestor tables about Fiennes's supposed connections to various notable people. The relationships were distant, to say the least, e.g., 14th cousin once removed, 32nd great-grandfather. In addition, they were sourced to a user database with no indicia of reliability. I've removed the tables.--Bbb23 (talk) 02:05, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Iscariot" is a nice name. Is it his, though? Andrew Dalby 09:08, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Good question. It was sourced, although I would have put the footnote in a different spot, but the source was one of those personal ancestry-type websites that are not considered reliable, so I removed it.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:41, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Michael Jackson Casting thing.

[edit]

Regarding Elizabeth, Michael and Marlon at IMDb
Where would a reference to Fiennes being cast as Michael Jackson even go? Controversies? Career? It was cancelled but and will never see the light of day[1] but should it not be noted somewhere? Jeffery Thomas 22:14, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'd think this should come under the heading "controversy" and is definitely noteworthy. This role has caused considerable echo (but probably only for a few days as is usual these days) and - if anything - shows poor judgement in accepting roles. Very much reminiscent of blackface acting.Thetruthisoutthere19 (talk) 22:29, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Possible Vandalization?

[edit]

There's something in the search results that shows his name as "Kenyi Adames" in Google, and a search for "Kenyi Adames" comes up with results for Joseph Fiennes. I no longer see references to this on the main wikipedia page, but is worth investigating by someone more knowledgeable than me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:E950:4700:3C1E:9048:AE1A:2A91 (talk) 14:59, 25 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Birthday?

[edit]

Why is there no birthday for him? Johnny0929 (talk) 02:32, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

For biographies of living people, Wikipedia's policy requires that dates of birth "have been widely published by reliable sources, or by sources linked to the subject such that it may reasonably be inferred that the subject does not object to the details being made public." Change to 'triple-barreled' in Note 'a'

[edit]

May I suggest that we change 'barrelled surname' to the usual term 'triple-barrelled surname' in the Note at the end (Note 'a'). keenuck (talk) 08:57, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
